Saint Laurent’s new eyewear campaign was shot by its creative director Heidi Slimane. The black and white photos feature top models Abbey Lee Kershaw and Jeff Fribourg each with a sunglasses ad and with an eyeglasses ad.

The new sunglasses collection feature slick metal styles for men as well as thicker acetate sunglasses with rounded lenses. For women we see an acetate frame with metal arms and often with metal details near the hinge, just in line with the trends right now.

For the eyeglasses collection Saint Laurent has slimmed down the arms and adopted a more rounded shape on the lenses. Bright colours are blended with striped nuances to create an interesting look.

The men’s sunglasses Saint Laurent SL 21 have got a metal frame with a double bridge. The lenses are not shaded which will keep the wearer’s eyes hidden behind the lens. But if you want a really retrò and cool look this style is to be found with clear lenses and gold frame.

The women’s sunglasses Saint Laurent SL 31 have got a modern over-sized shape with a flat top. The glossy acetate is combined with shiny metal arms and the metal details on the front makes these sunglasses really special. They are really finely made and ooze luxury.

The eyeglasses campaign is presenting the unisex frame Saint Laurent SL 29. The acetate frame has got a geeky/intellectual shape with its round shaped lenses and lowered bridge. What makes it modern are the colours: striped horn, honey, black and havana which are all elegant and exclusive colours.
