Passion and style with Dita's F/W 2015/2016 eyewear collection

Started in 1995, the story of DITA Eyewear is really the story of life long friendship, Jeff Solorio and John Juniper are the driving forces behind Dita's celebrated designs. DITA sunglasses are an expression of beauty, smart design and understated elegance. Dita's designs distinguish themselves with quality, look and fit. All Dita frames are hand made in Japan and use only the highest quality materials: titanium, 18k gold, white gold and the finest Japanese acetates.
Creating a single DITA frame can take as many as 320 separate production-steps and over 8 months. The manufacturing process balances traditional and modern production techniques and technologies carefully selected at each stage to generate the best result.
A perfect example of DITA’s uncompromising production philosophy is the way in which the acetate frames are polished.
The acetate frames tumble slowly in genuine, hand-cut bamboo chips of varying shapes and sizes. In addition to the use of renewable resources, their traditional bamboo polishing process results in a deeper, richer, higher quality finish that you’ll immediately see and feel when you hold a DITA frame in your hands.
DITA’s mission is to create innovative, finely crafted eyewear with a totally unique look and feel. If you’re the kind of person who lives life on your own terms and refuses to settle for anything but the best, then, it’s worth to say: welcome to Dita’s world!
Each model comes from a precise inspiration, let’s go through this world…

Dita Heartbreaker, like the model’s name reveals got inspiration from a a beautiful woman telling her friend a story about the new man in her life. Heartbreaker is a modern interpretation of a classic cat eye style which from the moment you slide it on will make you the heartbreaker to whom all eyes are drawn.

Dita Hurricane is the result of a stormy weekend in the Bahamas spent waiting for the storm to pass. Inspired by a particularly retro-modern style, Hurricane is a bold, whimsical acetate frame perfect for making a definitive style statement wherever you are.

The Mach series is also inspired by the passion for fast cars, quick boats and sleek planes. Dita Mach-Two

Dita Mach-Four

Dita Journey, round shape is a friendly interpretation of John Lennon’s famous frame. Combining the best of yesterday’s and today’s details, Dita Journey is undeniably original and timeless.

The design of Dita Liberty was inspired by the awsome experience of seeing New York’s Statute of Liberty for the very first time. With an acetate brow bar and temples that are simultaneously classic yet modern, Dita Liberty is as stylish as it is unexpected.
