Oakley gears up for the Olympics with the Green Fade Eyewear Collection
Oakley is the world leader in the sport sunglasses’ field and it paid tribute to the now upcoming Olympic Games in Rio creating a Limited Edition collection designed for athletes who will wear them during their races. It's called Green Fade Collection and it is a unique series of sunglasses, created for sports performances of the most famous athletes.
The feature of this collection has been to produce the entire series with a coating spray of classic green colour that recalls the most famous collections of the '80s. But this time the gradient in green colour is hand made by Oakley technicians. In addition, all of the approximately 600 Olympic athletes who have chosen to wear the Green Fade Collection, could hand paint their sunglasses to create a unique and inimitable model.
The collection is made up of six different sunglasses that are suitable for different sport activities, like running, cycling, tennis, golf or team sports. Let’s see three of them EVZero, EV Path Radar and Flak 2.0 XL.
The model Oakley EVZero Path OO 9308 Olympic Collection Rio 2016 is equipped with a double coating of Iridium lenses. Oakley is the first brand ever combining two shades of Prizm lenses in a single toric shield to provide the widest viewing without distortion and offering an extended range of the view in the upper peripheral region.
