Hardior the J'Adior mood

Navy blue is the only one which can ever compete with black, it has all the same qualities”. This is what Christian Dior believed and this statement is the main theme of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior fall/winter 2017 collection. The shapes go from oversized, to unisex with a masculine style but a feminine allure, from the revisitation of the brand's bestsellers to the reintroduction of the Canage theme, all proposed from a futuristic point of view. For him, well, time to hardcore... or better say HarDior?

Directly from the Stars, DIOR STELLAIRE 1, its optical version DIOR STELLAIRE O1 and DIOR STELLAIRE 2 are three beautiful metal frames, the first two elegant, square and quite unisex, the third extremely feminine and futuristic.

The Canage theme, one of Dior’s greatest iconic patterns, is reinterpreted in a rock version. A soft, optical illusion is created by the acetate temples, embossed with the cannage theme and decorated with gold studs: it is the DIOR LADY DIOR STUDS!

And the J’ADIOR REFLECTED, almost a pun to express what the DIOR REFLECTED P PIXEL has been for all of us… how can we not J’Adior it? The shape is always the same but the lenses are traversed by the J’Adior inscription in gold and silver.

For Mr Dior hardcore becomes HARDIOR; a rectangular, statement mask between grunge and technologic, retro and modern, taking us back to the techno 90s. The lens is mirrored, the frame ultra weight and it is available in two different sizes.

Dior is also about reinterpreting its best sellers in a more comfortable and modern way. DIOR GENESE detains all the most typical characteristics of the Dior Homme frames but it has been given a streetwear retro touch. The decorations on the front make it look like a clip on!
