These frames play with the signature studs reminiscent of the hardware elements introduced by Jeanne Toussaint in the 1930s. The temples of the rimless frames, available in classic and innovative shapes, are adorned with intricate ribbed mesh motifs that reimagine Clash de Cartier’s picot studs and clou carrés as a tactile, three-dimensional embellishment. Each piece embodies the duality at the heart of the collection: refined and eccentric, classic, and avant-garde. 

The Première de Cartier universe revisits the original spirit of the first Première collection released in the ‘80s. The combi styles in dense acetate exude a fresh attitude, while lightweight metal is re- signified with enamel accents and subtle godron motifs paired with the C de Cartier emblem, the Double C logo, and the Cartier-engraved plaque. Colored lenses and luminous finishes lend a vibrant twist to these everyday essentials envisioned for all types of consumers.
