Niki Lauda and the movie Rush starring Carrera sunglasses

September 2: the film’s preview in London; September 19: at the movies in Italy.

We are talking about Rush, Ron Howard’s latest creation dedicated to Formula 1 racing.

Starring the models produced by Safilo: Carrera 80, Carrera Speedway and Carrera 16.

The film is set in the Seventies and it will bring on the big screen the great rivalry between the Austrian pilot Niki Lauda and the British James Hunt.

Daniel Brühl, who will portray Niki Lauda, wears del model Carrera 80, a metal aviator frame with polarized and interchangable lenses.

While Chris Hemsworth, in the shoes of James Hunt, will be wearing the Carrera Speedway, characterised by the graphic lines in contrast between the temples and front and for its strongly customized front part.

Last but not least Marlene Lauda interpreted by Alexandra Maria Lara will be wearing the Carrera 16, a metal aviator-style model and carachterized by the C logo on the bridge.
